![]() ![]() Tell us a little about the pros and cons of social media marketing for Picturesque Hair. Picturesque just tries to stay true to the original vision, and that is predominately ensuring people leave our salon feeling good about themselves, the market is huge and there are so many amazing salons out there, I just try to keep the focus of this one on the clients – I use a lot of my own photos of clients and their hair and just show my appreciation of all the support I receive daily.Ĩ. The hair and beauty industry is a huge market, with the introduction of social media, what sets you apart from the rest? And how do you stay true to your brand in such a socially driven marketplace? ![]() I keep it to a minimalist in terms of content, I want to show people what we have in terms of products without flooding their newsfeeds, I also try and keep it relevant to the season.ħ. What is your approach to engaging with your online market? Social Media is an incredible platform for reaching a wide variety of people, it’s structured in a way that you are able to engage with more than one core group at a time – I love the freedom of social media and the ability to be creative.Ħ. Why did you choose social media as a platform for engaging with your followers? I want them to feel like they are getting the most out of us and what we have to offer which we portray through our daily content.ĥ. I am not sure if it is a strategy as such, but I like to connect with our clients on a personal level – I want them to see what we are up to in the salon and feel involved and kept up to date. Without giving too much away tell us a little about your Social Media marketing strategy? I have always had a passion for hair – I myself had quite thick unruly hair as a child/teenager and I enjoyed playing around with that and trying new things out.Īnyone and everyone who loves to have their hair done, a lot of our clients get Balayage and being on the Northern Beaches we do have a coastal beachy feel about us but I believe we are across all segments in regards to colour and style.Ĥ. I have always enjoyed making people feel good about themselves, I love the look on a client’s face after having their hair done, my vision for Picturesque is that it can be a positive experience for my clients, and they leave feeling invigorated and beautiful. What inspired you to delve into the world of hair and beauty? I love to travel and experience new things and to incorporate that love of change into my Salon.Ģ. I am an auntie to three beautiful kids, one girl and two boys. I have a twin sister, one older sister and an older brother as well as two half-sisters (big Family).
